On October 7th during a video conference between Saint Petersburg State University and Tehran University of Medical Sciences a protocol on student exchange was signed. Together with representatives of the Russian and Iranian Ministries of Foreign Affairs prospects of the further cooperation between the universities were discussed.
From June 29 to July 1 webinar set on using “R-stylo” tool package for analysis of Arabic-script texts was held at the premises of the Center for the Study of IRI. The speaker was Artjom Shelya, a researcher at the Institute of Polish Language (Krakow). The workshop took place within the confines of the research project "Attribution of the Medieval Persian and Afghan Poetry Texts via the Methods of Digital Stylometry" supported by the grant No 20-012-00187 of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
On June 21-28 Chekhov Week was held in Iran. The "Russian Center" of the Tehran University in cooperation with the Shahre-Ketab Institute delivered the Chekhov week in Iran online. On June 21, the opening ceremony took place.
